The Maria Signorelli collection aims to offer a picture of the life and work of the artist Maria Signorelli
It presents her prestigious collection of puppets, marionettes, shadow puppets, masks with around 5000 items from the eighteenth to the twentieth centuries from all over the world.
It promotes events and exhibitions, including those focusing on particular sections of the collection.
It organizes lessons, conferences using educational materials, film and short shows.
It organizes practical workshops, also for adults, on the construction and operation of puppets.

A large part of the Signorelli Collection in Cividale del Friuli is open to visitors Monastery of Santa Maria in Valle, Via Monastero Maggiore 38 SUMMER HOURS ( April 1-September 30): Monday through Friday: 10 am-1 pm and 3-6 pm Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10-6.
WINTER HOURS (October 1- March 31): Monday through Friday: 10 am-1pm and 2-5 pm Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 10 am-5 pm December 25: closed January 1: open 2 pm-5 pm Ticket Office and Information at il Tempietto Longobardo Telephone: 0432/ 700867, same hours as the Museum
